Happy Valentine’s Day...if it applies to you... J ...otherwise, let’s get back to work!
Here are the 13 Rules to follow for Successful Goal Achievement
according to Bob Proctor:
1) Keep
Setting Goals...we are meant to set goals and strive for ever greater expansion
2) Make
sure your personal values support your goal(s)
3) Make
sure the goal is your own and not someone else’s
4) Go
after goals you are truly passionate about
5) Goals
that require RISK on your part create magical endings
6) Prioritize
your goals until you’ve isolated your A#1 Goal
7) Focus
on achieving just one goal at a time
8) Paint
a crystal clear picture of the end goal in your mind
9) Consciously
choose the thoughts that support your goal
10)
Control your attitude and make it a good one every
day
11) Plot
your plan and implement
12)
Keep going no matter what!
13)
Take measurements of your progress and adjust
accordingly
Now here is the poem I promised you last time: “Don’t You Quit”
When things go
wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re
trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are
low and the debts are high,
And you want to
smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is
pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must,
but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with
its twists and turns,
As everyone of us
sometimes learns,
And many a fellow
turns about,
When he might have
won had he stuck it out.
Don’t give up
though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with
another blow.
Often the goal is nearer
than
It seems to a
faint and faltering man.
Often the
struggler has given up
When he might have
captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too
late when the night came down,
How close he was
to the golden crown.
Success is failure
turned inside out,
The silver tint of
the clouds of doubt,
And you never can
tell how close you are.
It may be near
when it seems afar.
So stick to the fight
when you’re hardest hit,
It’s when things
seem worst that you mustn’t quit!
