Every single day is a new beginning to our lives but, by
tradition, New Year’s Day is the most significant; probably because it is
shared by all of us.
We all hope for good health, prosperity and happiness. We all
want to strive to make our dreams come true...and we all make new resolutions
to attain our goals.
Wouldn’t it be great if we kept our resolutions beyond the
first 31 days of the New Year?!
I love this quote from the master self-development teacher,
Zig Ziglar (1926-2012):
"People
often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why
we recommend it daily." J
So...make your goals for 2014, write them down and refer to
them every day! I’ve written mine down and have 15 so far...lol! There are
still several hours left to the old year as I write this so who knows what’ll
happen to the list before the stroke of midnight! I also have them taped up in
front of my workspace so it will be easy to refresh my ‘motivation’!
I will share with you some of my list and I invite you all
to share your top items for 2014 as well!
1.
Write
my book
2.
Finish
my audio guided visualization
3.
Get
10 cats spayed/neutered
4.
Earn
my Certified Bookkeeper designation from AIPB
5.
Establish
total organization in my house and my life!
2013 has been a good year! I hope to continue to improve on
those results.
How about you?
